At Airport Development Group, we are proud to recognise the achievements of our Indigenous trainees who have successfully completed their studies. Through our Indigenous Training Academy, we’ve supported and strengthened the connection of young Indigenous Territorians for three years, and today we celebrate their success.
We commend
Bryce Mckerlie for completing his Certificate IV in Information Technology (IT). Bryce has now commenced his Certificate in Networking, an area of growing importance for our corporate operations. We also congratulate Trea Gannon, who has successfully finished the first year of his electrical apprenticeship. Both Bryce and Trea have shown incredible dedication to balancing their studies with the responsibilities of young families; displaying commitment, discipline, and ambition.
As
Sandra De Kock, our Executive General Manager of People, Culture & Community, said, “ADG is extremely proud of Bryce and Trea’s accomplishments. We are committed to supporting education and development, growing our talent from within to become an employer of choice for Indigenous Australians.”
We would also like to acknowledge the mentorship from our dedicated team members and that of
Tanyah Nasir Consulting, our external mentoring partner, along with the vital support Bryce and Trea have received from their families. These contributions have played a key role in their success.
The mentoring program was made possible by the generous support of the
Northern Territory Government.
The Indigenous Training Academy has now seen 8 graduates earning Certificate IV qualifications in IT and Hospitality, empowering a diverse group of young people with valuable skills that they can apply in the workplace. As an industry leader, we will continue to support, mentor, and develop our team, helping them achieve their professional goals.
